DUI Services Evelyn

As the owner and founder of Perspectives Therapy in Tucson, Evelyn is a highly experienced and dedicated therapist with a mission to empower the Latino community and provide a safe space for emotional healing and open dialogue. With a master’s degree from Arizona State University and licensed in Arizona, Virginia and Illinois she brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to her practice.

With over 23 years of experience in the field, Evelyn has treated patients of all ages and backgrounds, specializing in helping individuals within the Latino community. She is passionate about creating a culturally sensitive and inclusive therapeutic environment where clients feel understood and supported.

Evelyn works with men, women, and adolescent girls who are facing various challenges, including confidence and self-esteem issues, trauma, relationship difficulties, emotional regulation, and communication problems. She believes in empowering her clients to take control of their lives and make positive changes.

In addition to her broad expertise, Evelyn is also certified by the state of Arizona to provide Domestic Violence offender treatment and DUI evaluations. These certifications reflects her commitment to addressing and preventing interpersonal violence within the community.

Fluent in both English and Spanish, Evelyn is able to effectively communicate and connect with individuals from diverse linguistic backgrounds, ensuring that language is not a barrier to receiving quality therapy.

Her passion lies in guiding young adults through the transition into adulthood, offering them the necessary tools to thrive emotionally and mentally.

Currently working towards a degree in social sciences/family law, Carolina is committed to expanding her knowledge and skills to better serve her clients. She understands the unique challenges that young adults face during this transitional phase of their lives and is dedicated to providing them with a safe and non-judgmental space to express their concerns and emotions.

In her role at Perspectives Therapy, Carolina fosters a supportive and empowering environment for her clients. Scott Durfee is a dedicated and experienced DUI education instructor for Perspectives Therapy specializing in conducting classes via telehealth. With a master’s degree in organizational management and newly appointed as a national program manager for an LEO agency, he brings a unique blend of expertise and empathy to his work.

Having earned his master’s degree in organizational management, Scott Durfee possesses a strong foundation in effectively managing programs and resources. This background has equipped him with valuable skills in creating and implementing efficient educational curricula, ensuring that his DUI education classes are comprehensive and informative.

As a DUI education instructor, Scott Durfee is committed to providing a professional and supportive learning environment for his clients. He understands the importance of tailoring his approach to meet the unique needs of each participant, recognizing that individuals may have different backgrounds, experiences, and learning styles.

Esperanza Torres is a highly skilled and compassionate professional with a rich multicultural background. Born in California and raised in Nogales, Sonora, Mexico, Esperanza brings a unique perspective to her work. She has been living in Arizona since 2001, where she has made a significant impact in the field of counseling.

In March 2024, Esperanza will proudly obtain her Master of Science in Clinical and Mental Health Counseling from Capella University. This achievement is a testament to her dedication and commitment to continuous growth and learning in her field. Prior to this, she earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice System with a concentration in Human Services from the University of Phoenix in 2013.

Esperanza has accumulated over 10 years of professional experience, serving individuals and families across various age groups. Her expertise lies in working with toddlers, teens, and parents, providing valuable psychoeducation and conducting individual and family therapy sessions. Her goal is to empower her clients to overcome challenges and lead fulfilling lives.

In addition to her counseling work, Esperanza has been serving as a special advocate for children in the Santa Cruz County system. This role showcases her deep commitment to advocating for the well-being and rights of children. Her firsthand experience in this area has further enhanced her ability to understand the complex dynamics of families and the importance of providing holistic support.

One of Esperanza’s greatest strengths is her bilingualism. Growing up in Nogales, Sonora, Mexico, and being a long-time resident of Arizona, she is fluent in both English and Spanish. This fluency allows her to effectively communicate and connect with clients from diverse cultural backgrounds. Moreover, her proficiency in understanding the technical language of counseling in both languages ensures that her clients receive the highest level of care and support.
